Martha was tricky to pick a daemon for until a friend made the suggestion of the ball python and the imagery got stuck in my head.
Blurb about Martha Jones and her Ball Python daemon, Aristotle:He was curled around her arm, his head resting contentedly against the back of her hand. He looked up at her when she sighed softly, her gaze on the Doctor. "You can be sickly obvious you know?"
She looked down at him, watching him shift slightly, coils tightening just a bit. "Tell that to him."
If snakes could smile that's what Aristotle would be doing. Lifting himself up so he was elevated enough to be seen he shouted. "OI, DOCTOR!" The man in question turned, as did his daemon, and fixed Aristotle with a questioning look. "Did you know Martha is painfully obvious?"
The man frowned a bit. "Is she? Honestly I hadn't noticed."
Aristotle looked up at her as the Doctor turned back to whatever he'd been doing. "At least you're not as unobservant as he pretends to be," the serpent daemon said as he settled back down. Martha pinched his tail lightly and ignored the small flare of pain in her lower back.Other Doctor Who / Torchwood Daemons:
