I was lost and alone, trying to find a place in the world
When you offered your hand and all of space unfurled

You showed me galaxies and worlds never before seen
Let me walk by your side, were a friend on whom I could lean

Whenever I got turned around you were there for me
Helped to guide me to the path and helped me to see

Your words of wisdom taught me that differences don't matter
And we're all the same when it feels like the world will shatter

You taught me

That the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few
Some times it's worth the sacrifice even if it means losing you
Your friends can be your family even when they're a little dense
That you can save the world with plans that make no sense

So though you are gone your spirit will live on
You will shine in the light of each new dawn

Never forgotten by those you touched with your art
You will live on in the warmth and love of every heart
