Game of Thrones daemon!AU art.

Blurb about Cersei Lannister and her Mink daemon, Kohana:
Kohana is a Japanese name meaning "little flower"

Cersei sat after the ship had sailed, carrying her precious daughter to Dorne, drinking enough wine that it would have had most men falling unconscious. She had just started to refill her goblet when Kohana spoke from where he sat on the little sofa just across from her. "I think you're overreacting to all of this."

She went perfectly still and looked at her daemon like she didn't recognize him.

"What," she snarled icily, gaze narrowing into a sharp glare. "Did you just say?"

Kohana stood on his hind legs. "I said, you're overreacting. Myrcella is going to be married. Not murdered. And you're acting like a petty child whose favourite toy has been taken..."

Kohana yelped as he scrambled down from the sofa, just narrowly avoiding being struck by the goblet Cerse had hurled at him, the wine in it spilling everywhere like blood.

"SHE IS MY DAUGHTER!" The Queen Regent screamed as she surged to her feet. Kohana instantly hid beneath the sofa. "You have no right to tell me..."

"I am your daemon!" Kohana shot back, glaring at Cersei from his hiding spot. "Your heart and soul! I have the only right to tell you anything you do not wish to hear!"

Silence filled the room as Cersei all but collapsed back down onto her sofa, face buried in her hands as she began sobbing. Kohana wanted to comfort her but he stayed where he was, afraid that she would hurt him, hurt them, just out of spite. It wouldn't be the first time she'd done it. It was not a chance he was willing to take. Not even for his other half.

You know you're a twisted person when not even your own soul, your other (and, in this case, better) half wants anything to do with you. That's a massive alarm bell.
